Stayed here for 2 nights with my dog and it was a great experience. the location is top-notch, right below the beautiful castle. 🏰 the whole stay was enjoyable.

Exquisite hotel with charming character and stunning views. The room was spacious and impeccably clean. The breakfast selection was delicious and fuelled our onward journey. I recently stayed at a charming hotel located by the buzzing square in town, with plenty of bars and restaurants just a short walk away. The room I had was beautifully decorated and had large windows that provided a lovely view of the river. The bathroom was modern and clean, with a spacious tub and a seat for showering. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast provided was superb, with a wide variety of options to choose from.

The only downside was that the layout of the hotel was a bit confusing, but it was a minor inconvenience that didn't detract from my overall experience.

We had an amazing stay at this lovely hotel. The location below the castle and right on the river was absolutely stunning. The view from our room was breathtaking. The staff were extremely nice and attentive, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The room itself was comfortable and had everything we needed, including air conditioning to help us cope with the hot weather. The hotel also had great amenities like a spa and wellness center, swimming pool, and a bar/lounge area. The breakfast provided was also delicious, with a buffet full of tasty options. we highly recommend this place to everyone.

The hotel is conveniently located near the town center, making it easy to explore the area. Guests can also enjoy a beautiful view of the castle from the courtyard. The staff provides excellent service and speaks English. The breakfast offers a variety of options and is a good value.

The public parking can be a bit challenging to find during high season.

The value for money was outstanding, and the room was spacious and well-equipped. The location by the river with views of the chateau was breathtaking, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

We stayed over Christmas and were greeted with a warm welcome by the staff. The complimentary wine and chocolates were a nice touch. The location was perfect, right in the heart of town and close to all the attractions. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable.

Our stay was marred by a few issues. The heating in our room was not working properly, making it quite chilly in the evening.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The beautifully appointed old building had a lovely bedroom overlooking the river. It was spotlessly clean throughout. The large comfortable bed and newly installed air conditioning as part of a major upgrade made my stay very comfortable. The breakfast was really good, with healthy food options including fresh fruit and numerous coffee and tea options. The hotel's location right on the river was perfect, with plenty of restaurants nearby, and it was also close to Saumur town center with many restaurants and bars.

Great location with stunning views of the river and chateau. The hotel has a charming character with wooden beams and limestone walls. The swimming pool and hot tub were enjoyable, and the family room was spacious. The staff were helpful and quickly accommodated our request for a room with a bath. The fine dining experience in the restaurant was exquisite. The breakfast was excellent and being able to eat outside was a wonderful addition.

The bed was too hard, which resulted in some back pain the next morning. The lack of air conditioning in the room was uncomfortable, but they did provide a fan.
